Roles Available
Interviewer:
Reach out to and follow up with UVA alumni
Conduct interviews using prepared question sets
Represent HYK in professional, respectful conversations
Writer:
Take recorded interviews and craft them into polished HYK posts
Write according to HYK’s editorial style and standards
Capture alumni voices clearly, concisely, and accurately
Interviewer & Writer
Handle the full process of sourcing alumni, conducting interviews, and writing feature posts
QUALIFICATIONS
What We’re Looking For
Ability to reach out to and follow up with strangers professionally
Strong writing skills — clear, concise, engaging
Reliability: can deliver on a deadline
Willingness to work within editorial and organizational standards
